Özlem Terzi

Özlem’s background is in International Relations, with a focus on EU foreign and security policy, recently those regarding the Arctic. Her work has focused on normative transitions, norm internalisation and contestation in the making of foreign policy decisions of EU, (re)definition of (national/ EU) interests, and multi-level analysis of preference formation in foreign policy. Her latest work focuses on the roles emotions play in formation of (EU) responses to international norm breaches. Recently, she is also leading a project with a critical approach to the implementation of the European Green Deal in the Arctic.
